Job Description The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for proactively advising and counseling leadership and teammates on human resources policies, procedures and employee benefits.
Assists the HRBP Manager with the maintenance of human resource programs including but not limited to employee relations and communication programs.
Assists in the day-to-day administration of area by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Responds to inquiries from corporate and teammates regarding human resource policies and procedures and advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relation issues.
Supports staffing for specific areas to include identifying needs/gaps, support with JD revisions, succession planning, exit interviews, etc.
Researches and respond to subpoenas/EEOC/DOL complaints and other legal matters, as needed.
Serves as support person/liaison for the leave of absence desk.
Must have a good working knowledge of FMLA and disability requirements.
Assists in the development and distribution of employee communication programs regarding human resource policies and procedures to include planner news, memos and the employee handbook.
Assists in ensuring that employee records are maintained in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies.
Assists in the preparation of on demand reporting.
Contributes to the development of human resources training materials and programs.
Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources, or related field, preferred.
2or more years of training, human resources experience required.
Wholesale/Commercial Human Resource experience preferred.
Proven experience with employee relationsStrong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
The ability to work with various computer hardware and software to include but not limited to Microsoft Office, RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, etc.
Well organized, detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to approach situations with an investigative mind and to push back on management to get to the facts around situations.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
Ability to review, handle and resolve matters in a confidential and professional manner.
Must be a motivated professional who performs with a high degree of accuracy and is attentive to detail.
Ability to read and understand business documents and reports that may impact an investigation or employee relations issue.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
Ability to travel as needed.
Must have a valid driver's license.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
