Job Overview

We are currently looking for an Assemblers to join our team in Conover, NC on 1st shift.

As an Assembler, you will:

Reference production orders, build sheets, or work orders to assemble frames and other lounge and/or guest units per engineering specifications. Inspect components and performs minor repairs as necessary, ensuring Haworth quality specifications are met. Work as part of team to build completed frames or accessory items.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • High school diploma/GED and 2 years of assembly experience
  • If no high school diploma/GED, 3 years of manufacturing experience for every 1 year of formal education required PLUS 2 years of assembly experience
  • The ability to work in Conover, NC without relocation assistance.
  • The ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs with assistance.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Experience working at Haworth
  • Experience working for a furniture manufacturer.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Good manual dexterity and communication skills; good vision and color perception essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work as contributing member within team environment.
  • PC and keyboard/mouse skills required.
