Conover, NC Description:
Finishes whitewood cases and tables to specified color and/or finish utilizing knowledge of wood properties finish.
Use schedule to pull cases/tables.
Read tickets and/or job notes prior to glazing to verify correct finish.
Move case/table into booth.
Use correct technique for case/table:
Basic-spray and wipe clean Spray and Brush to panel-to mirror panel color, Spray and brush clean-wiping, or Dry Brush technique-streaking and/or antiquing.
Perform all duties safely and report any safety hazards to your immediate supervisor including proper lifting techniques.
Maintains meat and orderly workstation.
Wears required safety glasses and footwear;works safely and reports unsafe conditions to Dept.
Supervisor Performs daily stretching exercises.
Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
Requirements:
Must be knowledgeable in finishing processes.
Must be skilled in handwork using brush and/or sprayer.
Must have ability to recognize parts and style numbers.
English required for reading tickets and instructions.
Must be able to understand and follow packing specifications.
